Volume 1 Issue 4

clean hands save lives

People are always talking about clean water, but nobody talks about soap. It’s the other side of the equation. Certainly in poor, rural areas, sanitation can be a challenge. But when you’re homeless, hygiene can be just as much of a problem.

In this issue our cover story, "Nobody Eats Alone," is about Natalie Hampton. At just sixteen-years-old, Natalie is the Founder/CEO of her own 501[c][3] non-profit organization and is a recognized TEDxTeen in 2017. The application “Sit With Us” that she created, “was inspired by a miserable experience of being bullied in middle school. Apart from the verbal taunts and violence, one of the worst things was having to eat lunch alone, and the embarrassment of having others see me eating lunch alone,” she said in our interview.
